The Simply Bits Enterprise Services department is seeking artistic applications to join our Enterprise Services Application Development team. The successful candidate ensures the operational efficacy and excellence of an organization. The position is responsible for conceptualization and design of graphic applications such as collateral material, corporate identity, websites, and application interfaces from concept to completion. This position is expected to work with prepress projects as well as use HTML, JavaScript, and ASP.net to implement website and application designs in projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow approved design patterns to implement intelligent designs
- Brainstorming and mocking up design ideas
- Projecting budgets and schedules
- Design ideas using Photoshop and Illustrator
- Implement designs using HTML, JavaScript, ASP.net, and C#
- Practice usability testing and design refinement
- Working with others, such as printers, programmers, developers or other technicians, to complete the final product
- Contribute to all aspects of the project life cycle, including design, development, testing, and support
- Handle rejection positively and work outside traditional designer roles
Qualifications
- Provide solid portfolio of prepress, application, and web designs
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
- Must pass a background clearance
