Simply Bits, Southern Arizona’s largest Wireless Internet provider, and Park Place Mall have teamed up to provide complimentary Wi-Fi in one of Southern Arizona’s largest indoor Malls. The Wi-Fi hotspots are accessible from any Wi-Fi compatible device in the food and center court areas. Users just need to select "ParkPlace-SimplyBits-Free WiFi," agree to terms and conditions and then they're free to browse. The first months report show that 60-75 people per day were utilizing the complimentary Wi Fi.
One recent shopper commented, "I wouldn't necessarily be coming to the mall to use my computer but if I was waiting on my kids to get out of a movie or if I was waiting on my spouse to finish shopping, it would be very convenient to to log in and catch up on news or email." Bradley Feder, Managing Member of Simply Bits, LLC stated "This is one more example of how we're deploying technology to make life and work more convenient, efficient and fun."
