Responsibilities:
- Drive sales from large business opportunities
- Meet or exceed sales quota on a quarterly basis
- Develop strategic, long-term relationships with customers
- Negotiate and close deals which derive significant revenue
- Understand each customers’ product and business plans in order to maximize sales opportunities
- Execute deals and work with other departments to ensure success of customer sales
- Provide status and pipeline reports to the Managing Partners on regular basis
- Promptly handle contract renewals and extensions
- Travel may be required in order to meet sales goals
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years sales experience selling computer software and/or related products to OEM, special markets and/or strategic partners
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and experience with consultative selling practices
- Strong marketing background and experience in developing go-to-market sales/marketing campaigns with customers
- Able to think creativity and strategically as a means to establishing new partners and promotions
- Experience in developing sales promotions and other marketing campaigns with alternative channel customers a plus
- Ability to work closely with customers to understand their business and product needs, and budget requirements
- Knowledge of the computer hardware and/or sales channels a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate both internally with the company and externally with customers
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, integrity, professionalism, the ability to work well with others and a great desire to be successful
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent desired
