Residential Sales Specialist

Summary

Residential Sales Specialists are responsible for handling inbound phone calls pertaining to residential service and closing new residential sales opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling inbound phone requests, as well as website inquiries, from potential customers seeking residential internet service
  • Handle inbound phone calls from current customers regarding service, bandwidth or WiFi needs and/or other customer inquiries regarding services to be provided
  • Identifying the ability to provide service through online tools provided by Simply Bits
  • Prepare accurate and timely customer contracts and/or related collateral for opportunities and subsequent closed sales activities
  • Coordinate and schedule customer installations
  • Helps develop residential customer training and education materials
  • Maintains knowledge-base on all relevant customer issues and topics  
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 6 years customer service or retail sales experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Telephone etiquette, customer service norms
  • Ability to record and deliver information of a technological nature to customers in the form of process for our services that are offered 
  • MS Office Suite, multi-line telephone, CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be team oriented and comfortable collaborating with staff
  • Conflict resolution 
  • Identify buying and cancellation trends
